Education And Relocation
As summer starts winding down, I want to discuss the importance of talking to your real estate agent about schools. Education is important and we all want our children to learn in a respected, safe, and fun community. Take the opportunity to discuss this with your agent.
When moving to a new area, the first person you should discuss schools with is your real estate, agent. They have the most knowledge when it comes to the districts and schools in the area where you’re moving. Whether you’re looking for public or private schools, they can help you determine locations and what your potential commute could be.
Real estate agents keep up with the local school district boundaries and which schools have the best ratings. Working with local agents is also helpful because there’s a significant chance they had or have children going to school in the same district. Discussing this can help them in their search for your perfect home. There are times when districts change their boundaries or add new schools, which can lead to reassigning boundaries. It never hurts to ask your agent for a list of high ranked schools in the area where you plan to move.
Realtors are always happy to help their clients find the perfect house in the perfect school district!
